"Star Wars Battlefront" players may have already gotten a look at the two new characters that will be introduced in the upcoming "Outer Rim" expansion.
As fans participating in the game's official forum have pointed out, there are two familiar faces that can be spotted in the recently released teaser image for the upcoming expansion, and they belong to Greedo and Nien Nunb.
It's already known that four more heroes and villains will be added to the game via the expansion packs, and fans have speculated that Greedo and Nien Nunb could fit into those roles for the "Outer Rim" expansion.
Fans have suggested that Greedo could be the new villain, while Nien Nunb would then be the additional hero that players can look forward to getting.
Aside from the artwork depicting both Greedo and Nien Nunb, there may be other reasons to believe that the two characters are indeed coming to "Star Wars Battlefront."
With the new expansion set to feature maps that include Sullust and Jabba the Hutt's Palace on Tatooine, it would make sense for both characters to then be included based on those locations, according to Eurogamer.
Nien Nunb calls Sullust his homeworld, while Greedo grew up in Tatooine, and those are expected to be the two planets that will be featured in the "Outer Rim" expansion pack.
The good news is that fans will likely find out if Nien Nunb and Greedo are coming to the game soon.
The "Outer Rim" expansion pack is expected to launch sometime in March, so players will find out pretty soon if Greedo and Nien Nunb are indeed the new characters joining the game.
Aside from the new characters, the upcoming "Outer Rim" expansion pack is also expected to introduce new weapons, more maps, and an additional game mode to "Star Wars Battlefront."
